Cousins Andrew Junker and Brian Coughlin, along with lifelong friend Jake Malone, make up the piano-heavy indie rock band KINCH. The band calls Phoenix, Arizona, their home, but they tour frequently, often with other national acts such as Dear and the Headlights and Local H.
They've played numerous reputable music festivals, officially appearing at SXSW, Noise Pop, EdgeFest, and the McDowell Mountain Music Festival.
To date, they've recorded and released two EPs, a single, and a debut album; the latter of which was named "Arizona's Best Album of 2008" by the Phoenix New Times.
Following in the footsteps of Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails, KINCH offer their music for free download on their website and they encourage sharing it.
